Salam,

Even dah 2 weeks in short sem, still tak dapat mood. Maybe sebab environment kat campus. Most of my colleague tengah praktikal, so kawan-kawan yang selalu hang out and selalu bagi support takde. Switching from Sciences course to arts stream is quite challenging for me..maybe because of this reason... jauh sudut hati, sometimes ada rasa envy bile mingle around dengan childhood friends yang dah kerja especially in professional fields..tu je kot.. Hah, untung sabut timbul, untung batu tenggelam, untung manusia siapa yang tahu. 2 semesters more to go. I believe that I meant for this new course. Pernah terfikir, if bagi opportunity study abroad, sponsored, untuk study in Engineering pun aku takkan pegi. I'm just not into it!. But for calculations and numbers, itu aku ok. God, give me strength to get everything through dengan semudah-mudahnya!

I just simply love this post. Full of humor and sarcasm.

Could a pig from Malaysia, if taken to the best plastic surgeon in the world, a surgeon who could tranform a hippopotamus into Angelina Jolie, and then made up by the best makeup artist that has ever walked the face of the Earth, pass off as a human being?

The answer would obviously be NO. A pig would always be a pig unless it has been turned into bacon. To a Muslim, this transformed entity is still haram to eat and touch. Muslims can't earn a living from pigs.

Okay, some of you would want to know why am I suddenly interested in this piggy thing? Well actually you are wrong. I am not interested in Pigs at all but more to the word TRANSFORM. Heck it could be an elephant, or a frog or a dog or whatever.

You see, an old body, which was only an agency has been transformed into a commission. From ACA which has only three letters it has been transformed to MACC with four letters. Wow! four letters instead of three. They added another C. The extra C was not only meant to shout to the world that XP has gone Vista but also to emphasise the word corruption. It is kind of a double emphasis.

Well, what has this tranformed entity done so far? Has it proven that it has since dropped its baby teeth for fangs? Has it proven that the once empty sac dangling just beneath its groin has since been filled with balls? Has it proven that the name change has viagraised it? Has it proven that it is now a true macho man instead of the pondan it was before?

The answer lies in what happened in Kedah and Selangor and Perak. Reports of corruptions by BN people in trying to buy over PR representatives are being investigated buy their gardeners. The MACC is more interested in the purchase of cows to feed the poor and the maintainance of a certain car. The MACC is more interested in wanting to question Sivakumar in Perak, besides of course, hauling up lowly clerks who skimmed a few hundred here and a few hundred there and apprehending constables picking up tips for services rendered such as non-issuance of traffic summonses

I could only surmise that this new commission still has baby teeth; it's sac still sags empty; It can't be helped by viagra and it is as pondan as ever.

First and foremost, I just wanted to wish congratulation to the ousted MB, Dato' Seri Hj. Ir. Nizar for winning the proceeding. Dun worry, truth has prevail! I think, the best way to resolve this problem is only by reelection. The authority should give back the power to Perak's citizen to choose their leader. This is due to unstable political situation. Quite funny to see people wearing black t-shirt were nabbed by the personnel even though they did not involved in the illegal demonstration. It was a very desperate action taken by the authority. Stop bullshitting the people!!!! The interesting part is when people were scampering everywhere out of sudden because of the raid. Come on, if the authority keep on acting as if the citizen is stupid and cannot think rationally, the young people won't give you any chance for this next general election. Obviously the mainstream media belongs to them. By the way, the UMNO should be revamped first before interfering the Pakatan's goverment affairs. For me, healthy competition is very important in Politic. The MP's were elected for the sake of people, they should bear in mind about this fact! Same goes to MP's from Pakatan. Government are drypers, you should change it as frequent as possible. This is the best way to prevent and eradicate corruption among these people. Haha. That's all about politic. My first class for today was English for Academic Purposes. I was the only student in the class as others have not attend the class yet. Mr. Shahrul Nizam!! Itu nama instructor aku. He looks young and smart even actually dah ada 2 orang anak. The oldest 7 years old. My EAP class will be from 11-1, three consecutive days (Monday to Wednesday). Thanx to Kak Suzi banyak sangat tolong afiq ye!! Sekarang tgh fikir nak cari tajuk ape for EAP. Nak lunch, will continue later.

Semester baru akan bermula esok!! Yeah!! I wish good luck to my self! Umi and Abah, I will give my best for both of you. Thanks to all my staunch supporter for being very supportive all this while. I'm going to do another comeback for this new phase. 2 more challenging semesters to go. My plan?.. InsyaAllah going to pursue Masters Degree right after finish my undergraduate course but at the mean time I have to work in order to pay my study fees. By the way, thanks to Prof. Saodah for helping me financially dengan bagi keje buat data entry, still waiting for new tasks.

Masa inter school debate sempat kenal dengan sorang committee welfare nama die Yoges. The only Indian among laws undergraduate students. Borak punye borak, baru tau die dah ada kondo sendiri and coming soon, kereta. Weekend die akan keje ajar private tution, but at same time still ada masa for University's prgorammes. Hmm, if nak compare Malays dengan Chinese and Indian in term of competitiveness memang jauh beza. Honestly, kita Melayu terlalu complacent, maybe sebab dah biasa hidup dalam comfort zone. So, ini menyebabkan kita terkebelakang compared to non malays. Bila dapat peluang masuk Uni, utilize chance yang ada sebaik-baiknya. Prof Saodah selalu pesan, for social sciences students, if nak senang dapat kerja dapatkan atleast second class upper (minimum la..but of course first class paling penting). Then make sure language proficiency bagus plus soft skills. Soft skills ni bukan la overnight process, tapi kene training and insya Allah you will gain it eventually. Oh,Yang best bile specialize Oraganizational Communication ni die punye syllabus conprises of Public Relation and Journalism elements.

Back to topic, most of non Malay kat private college sgt eager untuk dapatkan second degree. Contohnya macam classmate Along, buat LLB part time, event dah kerja in professional field macam engineer, accountant and others. Bila tanya kenapa belajar?. Just for personal satisfaction. Maybe ini yang kurang pada Melayu. Same goes to me. As far as I'm concern, orang Melayu sangat rajin and baik hati. Tapi maybe because of modernization and government's policies plus corruption dalam govt. membantutkan proses untuk Melayu terus maju. Last sem aku ada attend satu communication conference which is International Conference of Pacific and Asian Communication Association. That was my first time attending academic event macam ni. The best thing is dapat kenal dengan academician from various countries. Masing-masing akan present research yang diorang dah buat. Ada satu professor emeritius daripada Korea die ceritakan pasal SAMSUNG, one of the prominent company dalam bidang technology. Die ceritakan sejarah Korea, yang 50 years ago as poor as Ghana, tapi mampu jadi negara moden yang stabil in term of economic, social and technologies. The most interesting part is bile die mention yang percentage of illiteracy among Korean 50 years ago almost 75 percents. But then, dalam masa 50 years dapat buat comeback yang cayya!! Ha, Aku percaya kite Malaysia ada capability untuk maju macam Korea. Die kata, leader yang akan ada authority untuk mould people untuk jadi masyarakat spesies ape. Macam negara kita more to Islam Had Hari and entertaiment, so kesannya memang nampak sangatlah sekarang. Severe social illness. Iman sahaja benteng terakhir. Same goes to me. Salam,

It has been a while since my last post. Alhamdulillah, I managed to achieve good result last semester. Hope will able to keep up this good effort until the end of my study. This coming short semester is going to be a very tiring phase for me. 3 subjects including EAP, thinking techniques and principles of managerial communication. Class on Monday and Wednesday starts from 11 to 8 ada one hour je GAP.

Not to forget, last few days for the first time in my life I involved in debate event which is Interschool Debate Championship 8th, organized by IIUM. It was a great experience and good exposure for me. By the way, it is quite late for me to realize that I have talent in debate. Thank God, I got A for my Professional Speech, thus indirectly reflects my talent in this field.hehehe. Thanx to Husna and Syed coz ajak join program ni. Best dapat mingle around dengan budak sekolah from all over the states. For this time, aku kene jaga student Sekolah Al-Ihsan, Kuantan. Agak lucu tengok gelagat budak-budak ni. Naive and innocent.Surprisingly, this is not the first time sekolah harian biasa dapat beat boarding school yang outstanding in debate macam MRSM, MCKK, SSP, TKC and others. For your info, this is the only platform for students from various schools to debate. SMI Hidayah from Johor Johan and First Runner Up for Bahasa Melayu and English. Congrats to you guys! After habis program kene pulak assist team juara, SMK Greenroad ke LCCT. A token for Wadi for being a very supportive and hyper Head Comm. Kau memang jimbit la bro!!..haha Kudos to you guys!

This Saturday and Sunday ada wedding kat rumah Ami Yusof, family friend masa tinggal di Jeddah dulu, then rumah Aunty Rosnah yang banyak membantu keluarga kitorang all this while. Rasanya if no hurdle, I'm going be active back in blogging sebab baru subscribe celcom broadband yang sangat best.! Oh, lupe plak. COngrats to all of my brothers for your achievement last semester! Im going to tell u guys a little bit about my interview on the last 22nd September..my session was at 0940..i posted this interview in one of the aviation's forum.

The interviewer was Mr X, Mr Y and Mr Z..

I entered the room with salam..

Mr. Y: ok you may be sitted! Just put ur resume on the table..Ok demolition before we start our interview better for us to introduce ourself first....bla..bla..bla..Now please introduce about yourself, your background, family, ada gf ke x (sempat lagi tu..hehe) and tell us why you want to be a pilot!

Demolition: Assalamualaikum sir.. im going to tell u a simple picture about myself..my name is demolition, im all the way from Kuala Lumpur..(Mr. Z menyampuk..all the way from Kl cam jauh sgt je bunyi..hahaha)..i got 5 siblings and all of us still studying, my father working as a government officer, my mom is housewife..academically im doing degree in Human Sciences Communication Specialization in Organizational Comm and minoring in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage..(hehehe)..in IIUM..and this is my second year..

Demolition: To be simple and sincere sir, there are few concrete reasons why i choose to be a pilot. Eventhough there is nobody in my family working as a pilot, but i have a brother that pursuing degree in aircraft maintenance at Uni. Of Glamorgan, Cardiff. It indirectly cultivates my interest in this field.As i don’t have any strong supprot and knowledge about aviation.. i got to cruise it myself.

Mr. Z: Really?..when do u started to have this interest??

Demolition: I always thought that for those that wearing spectacles is not qualified to apply for pilot...until one day, back in 2006 when i was in still in engineering, i heard conversation btw my fren and my brother about pilot and i heard from him that he got a fren working as a pilot and also wearing optical aid. Without further delay, i surfed in the internet to get some informations about cadet pilot.(that was my big mistake!!.. i shouldnt mention about the engineering yet)

Mr. X: U used to be an engineering student?why u changed ur course?

Demolition: (abesla aku..i know this gonna be killer question for me)! After completing my 2 years matriculation in engineering (biasa la uia lambat skit),i’ve made up my mind to change to communication after consulting with my lecturers and counsellor. I admit that i didn’t do well in engineering..because im not into it..but at same time i keep on trying to get place for Cadet Pilot programme..my first attempt was Air Asia..unfortunately, i failed at the first stage...to be secure, i’ve decided to change to communication because i got worried that i cannot sustain in the engineering..i tried to apply for MAS..i found in one forum (forum kereta kancil..pelik jg..) an advertisement about MAS cadet pilot and the guy that posted the topic left his phone number..he mentioned that for those interested just pass ur resume to him, and he’ll pass the resume to the HR...few days after that i made decision to give him a call..the guy name is Djario (...thanx for d motivation bro..i lost your number and im still looking 4 u)...he is the FO for 747..he told me “to be a pilot it sounds impossible but it is possible, just put ur full effort and tawakal and He’ll help u..just keep on trying..who knows?..”....he gave Mr. Mohsin’s number n suruh tanye bile MAS punye opening, n kalau die tanye cakap ni sdare Djario yang call!..(i called en. Mohsin from public phone in UIA..kredit kering masa tu beb!!)tapi Mr. Mohsin cakap takde opening until 2008...frust gile masa tu!!!

Mr. Z: So u said that ur interest started in 2006 la??..before tu u langsung tak interested??u are not convincing enough la demolition...im afraid that u just want to cuba2 to be a pilot like u have done before..from engineering to comm..pastu pilot..then u’ll do it halfway(bengang jg dengar statement macam tu...grrrr...)..and do you known that pilot is more simillar to engineering rather than communication?Do u know that in pilot u have to learn a lot about the electrical and electonics stuff, engin..etc...bla...bla...

Demolitiom: Sir, as i mentioned before, i admit that i didn’t do well in engineering..but, from my point of view, pilot and engineering is different from it jobscopes..that’s why MAS offer the MAS apprentice for those interested in practical and mechanical works. I believe that im from sciences background and i won’t have any problem in dealing with the mechanical stuff. I didn’t apply before because of i thoughtt that im not qualified because wearing spectacles.

Mr.Z: Im not convinced enough..im afraid that if u lost ur interest after u join the programme, we’ll having problem with that...i like ur sincerity but u are not convincing enough!!

Demolition: Act sir, another reason i apply for this position is because pilot considered as a professional career. It offers numerous benefits and it comes with packages...u won’t get it from other career..im not trying to downgrade other profession..but for me..it is a fatastic job!..everyone dreams to be it....

Mr.Z is the one who controlling the conversation..demmm....die memang pedass..memang keje die grill budak smpai terketar lutut..heheheh

Mr.Z:Do you know what is career??go and open dictionary if u don’t know..kate communication student... (amboi2...aku senyum je...hukhuk)Do you know hows pilot’s life??

Demolition: Yes sir,i have to spend most of the time in the cockpit..work in stress, bz with works,,etc..bla2...

Demolition: Sir...another reason i apply for this possition is because of my family..i got 5 siblings and all of us still studying..i told my father that i want to be a pilot, and if possible i want to go for the private...as a parent, it is hard for them to refuse my request..he said that if i wanna go to the private, he has to extend his work..i dun want to give any burden to them anymore..(time ni tibe2 sebak...damn!!!!...)i promised him to do the best in the selection!..because my initial plan is to help my parent because i have another 2 siblings below me..

Suasana in the interview hall suram..gua cam sebak...tapi dapat control..cume voice tu cam vibrating skit..hehehee..act one of the main reason aku mintak pon nak tlg family...

Mr.Y:Then if you fail in the interview what will you do?

Demolition:I’ll keep on trying hard to go for the selection..any airlines...as long as i can give me the opportunity..and at the same time i will keep knocking MAS’ door..because i believe..not everyone destine to be engineer....and i want to be a pilot!!

Mr. Z: U have good looks and can speak well.Why don’t you apply for the steward post??damnn!!

Demolition: Thanx for the compliment sir, but i want to be a pilot!

Mr.Y:Let say, if u failed today, and tomorrow Air Asia offer u to join them..what will u do?

Demolition: ofcourse i’ll go for the Air Asia....i won’t devastate the chance..i will grab any opportunity that comes.

Mr.Z:ok..let we give him a test...(he gave few simple technical questions very basic..alhmdulillah i can answer it..)

Mr.Z: What is the latest aircraft that MAS bought?

Demolition: B737-800 sir..i think..

Mr. Y: How long u’ve noticed about the interview? And what is ur preparation for the interview..

Demolition: around 1 month sir..i think...(gatal mulut keluar i think...nampak cam x konfiden)..First and foremost, last 2 weeks i went to KB to see my auncle (ex airforce) to get some informations from him..he gave me radio navigation book for light aircraft..and explained some knowldge about light aircraft...he is a PPL holder..i met a friend of mine just started working with MAS WING, made a called to a fren(FO for AIRBUS)..made some reseach in the internet..

Mr. Z:Okla....other that flydamnit,askcaptainlim..what are other websites that u srufed?..we have about 10,000 websites on aviation.

Demolition:Yes sir.. i used to surfed both website u mentioned just now..plus lowyat.net forum..tanyaputera..and another is anonymous website ..(already forgot..hentam je..sbb lupe nama website,just save kat bookmark!)..huhu..i told them askcaptain lim dah kene abandoned kot sbb takde link..

Mr. Z: oooo...so u study aviation for the sake of interview je la??(aiyooo....this guy btul2 menguji la..)

Demolition: Not really sir, my target is to pass for the interview and smoothly pass all stages first..but if im given the opportunity, i believe that i will seek as much knowldge as possible...and i’ll give my best commitment!

Revision week dah bermula (revision days act..4 days je). I have to go through 7 papers. Ada yang berturut2. Sabar je la. Baru surf forum flydamnit.com, im quite dissapointed..i didn't passed for the selection. However, i can still proceed with my Plan B, going to finish up my degree by 2010 and proceed my attempt for the cadet programme. I should be grateful, eventhough i didn't passed the selection, atleast i have passed the crucial level. Maybe takde rezeki. Only 2000 resumes have been selected out of few thousang resumes. For my session, there were about 600 sat for the first stage. I managed to get into the 3rd stage...only 40 people managed to get into 3rd stage..gile..out of thousands, they only look for 16 people for one batch..so u have to be very competitive..but for me its ok, maybe by the time i finished my first degree, ill be accepted..amin..

I missed midterm for sciences of quran with excuse, but lecturer tak accept. He asked me to do extra assignment and the highest marks that he could give is only half!! takde consideration langsung..tapi tapela, he's a good guy..very softspoken and polite..tak macam lecturer forenah yang lain stgh tu.... i went for the interview and then terus collapsed! aku jenis tido mati, so kelas petang tu missed sekali dengan midterm. Right now im trying to finish up the assignment because i want to submit it tommorrow, no delay!! Its going to be a very hectic week!! Lepas ni kene prepare presentation for Muslim Media Society. woooooo..tensi2...kasyrat btol!! by the way i obtained 7 and 6 over 10 for both tests..luckily pagi tu sempat baca kalau x abesla.

Petang ni ada gathering Kabilah Az-Zariyat di rumah Zairy..x boleh ikut banyak keje kene buat. Jerung raksasa yang menumpang bilik x balik lagi merayau pegi mana ntah!!...Mamat foreenaahhh blk aku ni pn slalu missing in action..nasib baik diorang ni budak baik, kalau x dah kene buang daerah, cume diorang ni smelly skit, maybe tak biasa dengan weather Malaysia, dah kene sound baru reti nak pakai deodorant.."Brother, ur armpit is damn smelly, please do something"..harsh gile aku sound, bengang jg la dah bagi present deodorant (aku memang sarcastic) die reject sbb cakap ada alcohol..elok la kene sound tu..hahaha

Supposedly i hav 3 classes in d morning, tapi 2 class cancel. Sat lagi kene amik my best friend jerungsakti kat stesyen lrt, he's going to stay here for few days. Member tu memang traveller. My best friend since form 4 kat jasin. Still x dapat reach MAS HR!! Penantian satu penyiksaan..pick up the phone la!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hari raya ke-5 dimulakan dengan bangun tido waktu tengahari. Menerima kunjungan dari dua rakan karib, Nuzul dental student UM and Naqeb student final semester mechi UTP. Aku?..tunggula.insya Allah by 2010 grad la if takde extend. Tadi beraya rumah anisa, bantai kuih raya smpi half jar n keropok ape ntah tapi sedap la.

Balik UIA sat lagi after maghrib kene setelkan tanggungjawab sbg sorang student, 2 assignments must be accomplished by this week, Khidir pun dah call tadi. Pulang ke UIA....jmpe kawan2 yang dirindui and focus for final!!

Tadi one of bestfren masa zaman skolah datang. That guy name is Arif, working as a navy. I ithink he's the only one keje in uniform among my fren.If ada yang lain pon pilot la. Tak sangka langsung die blh keje jadi Navy, masa sekolah tak nampak pon talent nak jadi tentera ni.

Die baru attach kat lumut, sblm ni kat sandakan. Teringat zaman sekolah dulu, masa berhingus lagi kat Sekolah Kiblah, Sungai Merab Bangi. Sekolah tepi highway, walaupun tak lama tapi menyimpan seribu kenangan. Aku memang terkenal sbg nomad masa zaman sekolah. Selalu pindah2 sekolah.haha!

Besok last day cuti. Sementara ada free time better for me to utilize it with my family n dok rumah je. Tadi ada godaan ajak lepak NZ..Tgk la..

Raya ke-4

Tahun 2008 ni merupakan tahun pertama my family beraya di KL. Dah jadi satu tradisi for us untuk balik kampung, sama ada kelantan or penang, tp kelantan lah selalu jadi pilihan tahun2 sebelumnya. Hari ni sempat ziarah 2 rumah je, rumah abg zainal and lee kat templer, dua2 rumah makan mee kari.hehe. one thing aku realize ialah my weight tak turun langsung lepas sebulan berpuasa. maybe masa puasa makan banyak waktu malam, act takla banyak sgtkan. Tapi kadang2 bantai nasi pas training for wajadiri end of nov ni pasal tu kot berat badan static je.

alhamdulillah, arini n semalam rasa tenang skit but nervous still ada..ape pon just bear in mind HE knows best!! All i can do is keep on praying and terima HIS decision dengan redha. If worse comes to worse, and i fail in the selection, i will
keep on trying. Who knows, by the time i completed my first degree dapat offer lagi.

Will keep on trying to reach MAS HR to get the result. Although offical result will be released within 3 weeks, but i can't wait long..x tenang.haha. After holiday, kene prepare for 2 presentations, 2 assignments and final!!
